What I Shoot With

I finally found out how to add a list to my side bar...so for those of you who have asked me what I shoot with....there is a list on the right sidebar. (I even used HTML for the first time ever!!!)

Thanks for all the nice words you all leave. This is such an awesome group.

If you have any suggestion as to what I should put on my wish list now...feel free to let me know.

I have a true macro on it...but that won't happen overnight LOL

May #2 - Complex

..and why I LOVE macro photography.

I would never have guessed the COMPLEX nature of a single dandelion seed unless I have seen this photo I took down by the river the other day. Can you see how COMPLEX the seed is? There are ridges which I would presume  assist it to catch onto things as it floats away from the mother ship..and maybe they help it to dig into the earth to become a new dandelion next year? Whatever the reason...I love Macro!

May #1 - Blossom...or 3

I couldn't pick just one..so here are some blossoms from my garden

The first is actually my neighbours wisteria...which blooms like crazy on my side of the fence LOL. I am not sure why but I love the blown out look of this one.

My Clematis over the entrance to the veggie garden...

I lied...this is not in my garden, rather, it is in the drive of  a house around the corner..they probably wondered what I was up to LOL. The pink dogwoods look like butterflys on the trees..love them

When did my little niece become such a beautiful young ballerina? TIME and practice! This was her first ever Solo performance! She worked so hard and did an amazing job!

...I hate dislike indoor photography...just saying...

While down at the river the other day I took this picture trying to get a little sun flare into the mix...

These yellow tulips have been coming back every year in the garden and every year I love them more...

I love how the tendril from the clematis is growing around it.

I caught this little kitty down by the river playing with her owners (two little girls) .. she came and chatted with us..in this picture she is eying my dog who is squealing to say hello about 10 inches from her face LOL

I would LOVE to know how to make her eyes brighter in PSE but I have no idea how anything works in there.. one day

I love "Hens and Chicks", I love all the PARTS that make up the whole..the individual "petals" and the group of plants that grow out from each other...

All kinds surfaced today as I Skyped with my nephew. He leaves for Afghanistan in the morning...
