The Red haired Stamper
Talk about quick and easy! I LOVE the whale on the Maritime DSP but unfortunately he was not included with the images in the Sea Street Stamp Set. So again I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the front of a layer card. I had soem friends over when I was making this card and they didn't allow me to add anything to it. So here you go...perfect clean card..whale swimming low in the ocean. (Please don't note the upsidedown water pattern on the card LOL)
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White; Maritime DSP
Stamps: None, nana, zip (well inside I stamped the little school of fish from Sae Street along the bottom of white cardstock insert)
Misc: Red 1/8" Taffeta Real red Ribbon; Paper Snips
Thanks for stopping by, tomorrow's card is a WOW card I recieved in a swap! You won't want to miss it!
Thanks for stopping by!

I might run out of silly sea titles by the end of the week LOL
So are you wondering what I was on about yesterday with my comment at the end of the post? Well..this card has the Sea Street Octopus ..or does it??
Can you spy the difference?
How did he get that boat in his tentacles? Ha! You got it..I fussy cut him out of the Maritime DSP! I also fussy cut the little banners along the bottom of the card (I love fussy cutting...)For the background I used the Maritime DSP and cut the bottom portion off and flipped it over..easy peasy! Both sides are beautiful.
Here are the details:
Paper: Coastal Cabana; Night of Navy; Maritime DSP #133696
Misc: The NEW Thick Bakers Twine in Coastal Cabana #135638 $$4.95 for 15 yards!!
Thats about it, I'll add a greeting when the time arrises depending on the occaision! :-)

The Red Haired Stamper
LOL...did you eat Fish Fingers when you were a kid? I grew up in Ireland and Birds Eye Fish Fingers were one my favourite things for lunch and every Friday was fish day (being the good Catholic girl I was). They used this line in the ad..the old sea captain asking the little boy LOL
Anyway.. I'm rambling!
The new catalogue has lots of nautical themed items in it.
My absolute favourite is the new Maritime Designer Series Paper. All red white and navy it is sharp and bright..add a touch of Coastal Cabana and you have that tropical touch!
So this week I will be showcasing the DSP and the Stamp Set I mention on Friday called Sea Street
Here are the items I used to create this card.
Paper: Night of Navy; Real Red; Whisper White; Maritime DSP #133696 $13.50
Ink: Night of Navy
Stamp Set: Sea Street #133988 $20.95 CM / #133985 $27.95 WM
Misc: Basic Pearls, #119247 $6.50, Circle Punches; NEW Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (flower, heart and star) #133787 / $22.95;
