This card was done when I saw a challenge to make a card using a single colour...well..this has two but it's close..LOL I used Direct to Paper on the Au Chocolate paper with Certainly celery Ink. I cut the circles with my coluzzle (still on that bandwagon LOL) I cut a white and green circle, then I used my circle punch to make the spiky look (if you click on the picture you may see it better). The front flower has DD on it :-)
I wonder is Alison and Mo remember anything when they look at this card? Does it bring back Memories of Hydrangeas, road trip, a regional and a wonderful kind demonstrator who opened her home to us and let us play with her stash? LOL Ahhh...who would have "thunk" we would come this far! :-)
White embossed and daubered! :-)
This card was inspired by a card i saw on SS. I am sorry but I don;t recall who the inspiration came from. Will update if i find the photo again. The panels are like the card i saw but I changed up the front design. It is so easy to make your own "background" paper with stamps! :-) I really like this colour combo .. Vintage Violet, Marigold Morning and Real Red.
This card was inspired by a card we made at our recent shoebox swap. I wanted to try a sort of reverse darker image and I like the result...here is the inspiration card made by my awesome down line Bev Gajsek. If you click on the image you will maybe be able to see Bev's flowers are layered in vellum!
OK it is waaaay past my bed time. Thanks for stoppin' by. I will be out of town for the next few days but will post again later in the week. Say hello in the comments section so I know you have been by! :-)
