Today I had a scrapbooking class. I wanted to the girls to try collage scrapbooking using many photos and I have also been wanting to try my hand at using circles..so decided to combine the two....and what about a little glitter too? LOL
So I will upload the photos of the girl's pages into the scrapbook page album on the side bar. Bernice did her granddaughter's grad and Colleen did her sister-in-law's 4-th birthday. I did Easter. here is what happened to me...did i mention I had a LOT of pictures..in fact...if you have ever scrapbooked more than 40 photos on two pages let me know! LOL Yes I said 40!!! (OK I printed them small...) This is waaaay outside my comfort zone (see Carlo's album pages on the next post for something more my style). I also used a LOT of glitter! Again not me. But I got the pictures scrapped! LOL
Here are some of the details.
This is where the Thanking of the Gods of Scrapbooking comes in..I spent at LEAST 10 minutes trying to the get the backing off the #7 to finish this page...the number 7!!!!!! I think I would have died....yes...I would have slipped off my chair and passed away on the floor of my new stamp room! LOL I got frustrated with it and threw it down on the table..and looked at it and my eyes grew big and I let out a huge gasp of relief that I did not get the backing off! All the other letters, numbers and the flower were not a problem!! PHEW!
I'll have to save this guy for another page sometime..just no room for him! He is just paper torn out and inked around the edges...how cute huh? I made it YEARS ago at some class I took and came across it in the big clean up!
I would change one thing if I started this page again..I would not have stamped the petals around the images on the second page...bit too busy now.
Thanks for stopping by. I have another post to share with pictures of the pages I made on the scrapbooking retreat I went to last weekend.
