I finally got some photos taken of the pages we did at our Scrapbooking retreat recently. I used other products than SU as most of them are for my GF's little girls pictures. Mine are usually made exclusively with SU products. I had won some papers in a draw at the crop and used most of them in my creations..and lots of bling cause they are little girls and they need bling...right? So for today...here is the cover of Kate's Album..and a detail of the insert. (Thank you Iris B for your inspiration and flowers for this one) and page one of the album...there was a cricket there and I cut the title out with that...and added Swarovski crystals to it :-) don't you totally know that this poor child will be plagued by this photo at weddings, birthdays, new boyfriend visits etc...LOL..as she gets older. Again, thank you Iris for the perfect paper for this image...it is PERFECT!!!
I am so sorry I have been just flying this month (literally and figuratively) . Two trips to Sydney Australia, a weekend of cropping, Hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for 25+ (including about 10 hunters), hosting a BBQ today for my FIL's 90th birthday (and it rained so everyone (30 people) in the house LOL), next weekend my clubs and a workshop and the following week 4 classes of 25 kids to prep for! YIKES! No time for creative play. I did manage to complete a swap for my scrappin' group. I do the recipe card swaps. This week was sauces and dips and I did a page with ThePioneerWoman'sPico de Gallo Guacamole. Thank you Sue C for coming by and picking up my swap to deliver it...I was kinda in panic mode at that point as I didn't know where to set up for the BBQ as the weather was so uncertain. My camera just died so I can't share that photo with you until I recharge the batteries. So...in the interest of giving you SOMETHING to look at instead of just my ramblings...(apologies..I am really tired LOL) here is the swap page I did. I will be back with the scrapbook pages I created at the crop earlier in the month...once the camera is charged LOL! Hang in there with me.!! Thanks Sylvia for tapping me on my cyber shoulder and asking where I was LOL. Sue
My Cyber Buddie Lydia from Understandblue (do you remember her hysterical updates from leadership?) entered her design for a Momster competition. Well she won and her design has been made into the coolest pendant just in time for Mother's day...so go check it out if you have a wonderful Momster in your life...or forward it to the right person if you are a Momster and have it on your wish list....LOL. I think it is adorable. Click HERE to see it and or purchase ($16 from each sale goes to UNICEF). I believe it is only available until around May 6th? Congrats Lydia!!! Sue
