Yes I'm Irish so I couldn't resist playing along with the SUOnly challenge to make a green card. The Irish in me had to add a wee bit of gold for the Green White and Gold colours of the homeland! The funny thing is I rarely make an St. Patrick's Day card because it is all so mixed up with "The luck of the Irish" theme that so many in north America associate with St. Patrick's Day, which has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with religion! We don't wear 4 leaf clovers but we do wear the three leaved Shamrock to represent the Holy Trinity. SO..my card is a green good luck card ... thats all..nothing else! good Luck to you all! LOL
Here is my card...
I made the mat behind the L is for Luck piece by cutting two of the green mats and sliding them out on either side. The mat is from Apothecary Accents Framlets.
The stamp is Quint-Essential Flower #126790 and I stamped it in three shades of green and punched out each section with scalloped and circle punches. The other stamp used if from the Occaisions Alphabet Set. Easy Peasy!
I am linking up with SU Only Challenge Blog ... play along if you feel like it!
Happy Stampin' and thanks for visiting!
