Labour Intensive Vintage Christmas .

I have been loving the new vintage feel to some of the sets in the current Holiday Mini catalogue.

Over the weekend I made this card. I think it is the MOST labour intensive card I have ever made and I actually made multiples of them!!

I do love it...and if you receive this card from me this Christmas you better frame the sucker!! LOL

 

I used the Bells & Boughs set for the holly leaves that I then water-coloured and cut out (about 24 of them!!!). Layers, sponging, stamping, cutting and gluing are all part of this card :-)

Oh JOY!!!

When I went to visit my good friend Alison the other day I got to make this cute Christmas Card. I love the detail with the pearls in particular.

Those new self sticking pearls and sparklies (yes thats the official name in this studio) are wonderful!! The make adding an extra little tounch to a card so very easy

 

But there was even more than that that got me excited about this card! Can you guess what it is? My Hostess Club ladies will find out on the 20th...teehee

 

I have orders going in all the time so if you need to pick up some pretty embellishments or desperately need some more cardstock in that perfect shade  just give me a shout!

Christmas Collage Card

This is a card I made with my Stamp Club ladies last weekend. It is based on a card made by SU and I just changed up a couple of things.

I love the vinatgy feel attained by doing a wash of Crumb Cake ink over the edges of the image and around the number 25. I also used the Bells and Boughs set to add the cut out image near the greeting. It co-ordinates beautifully with the large Christmas Collage stamp used on the main area.
