Last Friday night I hosted a shoebox swap with some of my down line who were in town for Saturday's Stampin' Up! Regional meeting. Here are some of the pictures of us hard at work...
Everyone brought very cool things for us to create. Mostly cards but also some neat 3-D items. Here is a little peek at some of them.
This was shared by Cheryl Sexsmith from Salmon Arm...don't you love the direct to paper technique she did on the Au Chocolate paper..opens up a million (well at least 48) possibilities!
Also...notice the Faux brads on the punched sections.
Cary Burnett shared this teeny little book with us..isn't this adorable? I love the ribbon binding on the tab punch!
I am thinking up ways to use this in an upcoming class. Thanks Cary for the inspiration!
This card was shared by Bev Gajsek. The 3-D butterfly is just beautiful. Bev stamped and embossed the butterfly in black on designer paper twice and cut them out. She had then embossed them over all in clear but I liked mine with just the black lines so thats how this one turned out. here is a detail of the butterfly.
Look how cool the little wire antennae are! I have to use the wire more often! :-)
This card really WOW'd me..it is so clean and yet has such detail..love it...
That's it for now..hope you liked the art of my talented group! I'll be out of town for the next few days so will check back on Wednesday night if I have energy and post some more.
Sue...broken hearted Canucks fan...GO SENS GO!!! (well I have to cheer for the next Canadian team now..Ottawa Senators)
