The current mini catalogue that is. There were some beautiful stamp sets in it. One of my all time favs was an instant pick for me...Nature's Walk. The one that snuck up on me was 'Easter Blessings'. I am not a big cute girl skipping through the woods with an Easter Basket kinda card maker but this stamp set sucked me in and it has a permanent spot on my stamp shelf now.
So when I was visiting mt friend Alison's blog and saw THIS CARD I knew that I had to make something similar for my Hostess Club ladies last weekend. Did I mention that I already had their cards planned and cut and prepped...and saw that card on Alison's blog about 2 hours before the girls arrived. So they got an extra card...they totally deserve it too :-)
Alison used Whisper White and I used Very Vanilla. I also used one less layer (nothing to do with the fact I could not find my oval cutter LOL) and curved the corners. Quick and simple and beautiful...thanks for the inspiration Ali!
So here is my take on the card.......Little girl skipping through the orchard
...with a basket of pearl fruit
that she picked from the Pearl fruit tree
:-)
Hope you love it...this set is still available until the end of the April.
Thanks for visiting....
Sue
