Hostess Club Cards

Had a lovely day stamping with my Club Ladies in May. We made four cards and they got a sneak peek at some of the new toys.

Here are two of the cards we made in May.:

A lovely vintage take using the stamp set "Blooming with Kindness"

Cardstock: Crumb Cake; Chocolate Chip; Very Vanilla

Inks: Crumbcake; Chocolate Chip

Stamps: French Script; Blooming with Kindness

Misc: Basic Pearls; Stampin' Sponges

The next card used the masking and sponging technique. You tear some scrap paper and stick it down on your cardstock base and then spong the open areas of the card. Before we took the mask off we then stamped the patterned trellis on the same area.

Punched and sponged the edges of the butterflies and flowers and adhered with glue dots and added lots of bling. Add whatever greeting you like and voila! Easy and quick card that looks like you put lots more effort into it than it required!

TIP: Use our Paper Piercing Tool to lift and place your diamonds, pearls and candy dots. They won't go flying!

You’ll be thrilled to display this beautiful framed 12” x 12” sampler during the holidays (frame is not included). It just sparkles in real life!

There is an alternative card option (make nine 3” x 3” cards/envelopes).

It’s so funny when you watch little children opening presents because they think the box or packaging is sometimes better than the actual gift! That’s how you’ll feel about our adorable, gorgeous and fun Mini Muslin bags! You’ll receive a full package of the bags (8) and a full bottle of Dazzling Details (wait until you see the magic this creates!!) and you will make four in class in four different styles. You’ll also make two beautiful gift tags! (a surprise!!)

Please bring a basic stamping tool kit to classes – scissors, adhesives (including dimensionals & glue dots) – mark all items with your name.

NOTE:

There is still space left in the Retreat – registrants will receive first chance at the classes and remaining spaces will be offered to customers who are not attending. My friend, Alison Solven and I have been busy creating classes using the Christmas themed products from the new Seasonal Catalogue. Each class at our Stamp Camp will include product that you will use in the class but also have loads of goodies to take home and keep the creative juices flowing long after the day is over!

It will be an all day event filled with four classes for you to pick from - take one, two, three or all four classes!

Snow Day!

Time: 9:00am - Cost $30*

In ireland we didn't get many 'snow days' while growing up but i do remember pelting our teachers with snowballs one epic year! They were good sports until we threw one in the class room LOL!

In this class we'll use the adorable Snow Day Stamp Set to create four cute cards!  This class includes the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack and 1/2 bolt of the Burlap Ribbon – you'll have lots left over to take home to create even more fabulous cards!

 

 

 

To Die For!

Time: 10:45 am - Price :$30*

There are so many amazing new dies available that it seemed like a good idea to play with some of them in class!  The cards will use a variety of embossing folders, framelits and more!  We'll even use the brand new Thinlet Dies that make moving cards easily!  You'll receive the Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (or substitute the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder) and one package of Basic Rhinestones with your class fee!  *One more card is being designed with the sizzling new flip card die and I'll update this page asap with it!*

 

 
Baby It's Cold Outside

Time: 1:00 pm - Cost: $30*

Four gorgeous and elegant cards using the Frosted Finishes Embellishments and Silver 1/8" Ribbon – you'll receive the entire package of both products in the class and will have lots to take home for use in future projects!

 You are going to LOVE the Frosted Embellishment. Probably my favourite emblellishment EVER!!

 

 

 

Naughty or Nice??

Time: 2:45pm / Priced: $30

This class will use the Santa's List stamp set (included in your class fee / Clear Mount style) to create four deliciously vintage Santa themed cards.  Don't worry we won't tell Santa if your naughty.

Paper Angels Craft Retreat

It's almost time. Our third Paper Angels Retreat is almost here.
April 26/27/28 Friday 1pm to Sunday at 3pm in Beautiful Rosemary Heights Retreat Center in South Surrey.

Tired but happy!

What a whirlwind weekend! Friday night I had the pleasure of hosting a Shoebox swap with my down line. There were 11 of us and  I have to say the projects were awesome! I will post a few pics over the next week when I catch my breath!

Saturday was Vancouver Regionals. I got to meet some more members of my down line that I had not met before. What a wonderful day! The morning was spent trying to shoo away the butterflies as I was doing a presentation in the afternoon! I think it went well and everyone was so nice to me afterward and said they enjoyed it! Thanks to everyone who came up to me afterward and said I did good! :-) It is kinda scary to get up on that stage with a camera man on your shoulder and the mike on etc etc. LOL Another life experience!

Some of my Stampanions group got to play Family Feud which was great fun...the funny part was when I told my side line Alison she laughed and said we were up against her down line. Fun and laughter was had by all and  in true SU spirit, everyone was a winner and they all got a lovely free stamp set

Today I had my Stamp Club and on Tuesday I am teaching 75 teens how to make the little photo wallet from leadership. I need to get to bed so I can get everything finalized tomorrow.Organization is the name of the game for this many don't you think? I do 3 classes of 25! Hey..no camera, no ear piece, no problem right? I'll let you know how it goes!

I'll be back with photos on Wednesday of everything!

PS. On Friday at Regionals someone demoed the most stunning artist canvas scrapbooking. If you know who it was or have any notes I would LOVE to know how to do that! They were STUNNING! WOW!

Stamp Camp Projects

Had my Spring Fling Stamp camp yesterday so now I can share the cool things we all made.

This  fun coaster magnet calendar used the Au Chocolate paper for the background and then we cut the "flowers" from one of the other sheets, adhered them to brown card stock and used the large circle punch to punch them out. Used brown grosgrain for the "stems". I also thought you could make a little card using this layout and it would be a desk mini calendar? Cute or what? I love the brown designer papers in this package!

This box holds 3 of our long notes...my downline and co-host Tacye whipped it up for us to use. She is so good at doing 3-D items from nothing! LOL. We used a little Velcro tab to hold it closed.

Card #1: Used Doodle This set and accenting with SU's white Gel pen and painting the flowers and swirls.with Cool Caribbean and Tempting Turquoise re inkers. Finished off with 2xWay glue and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. The flowers are cut out and raised with Dimensionals

Card#2: Simple self explanatory card. Used our Spring Bouquet punch for the little yellow flowers and stamped the small flower from the Office Accoutrement set in Cool Caribbean. This card is a SCS inspired card that I changed up a few things on.

Card #3: This is another SCS inspired card..I used DS paper from the Notations pack as I thought it added a little bit of masculinity to the card. One thing that I think is important about how the flower looks it that the first two petals are laid down first..then the brown center and then the others are layer over it..it gives the flower more dimension than all of them being in front of the brown center.  Used the Paper Piecing punch for the CC tag and then free hand cut the artichoke around it.

have to go get chips for the boys to watch the hockey game tonight...It is very stressful....this is it tonight...we win or we are out!!!!

Valentine's Fun!

Today was just to much fun! Em and her friends got together and we did a Valentine's themed class. They all made a gift for their mum's and dad's and also a little something for themselves...because they are all too sweet. I love doing classes with Emily and her friends...kids are just so creative! I also do birthday parties and that is always a good fun day too!

Here are some pictures taken today! Again I forgot to take pictures of the yummy food...Valentine's cookies and a heart shaped cake (which I have never seen disappear so quickly in my life as it did with these 5 LOL..stampin' is hungry work!...apparently!) baked by Colleen...our resident Martha Stewart!

Busy Girls!

Good Job!

Behind each little envelope the girls did journaling to their parents...there won't be a dry eye in any home come Valentine's day morning! These girls are so sweet!  Thanks Girls..I had a blast! Hope you all make it to my annual Mother Daughter Class prior to Mother's Day! :-) I am already planning the things to stamp!
